To further strengthen our Corporate Unit we are looking for a:   HSM Solutions Expert

Your tasks:

  • Act as a technical advisor for customers implementing payment and general-purpose HSM solutions.
  • Support Sales during technical discussions and translate customer requirements into suitable HSM-based solutions.
  • Guide customers through onboarding, integration, testing and go-live.
  • Advise on secure solution architecture, cryptographic concepts, key management and HSM integration patterns.
  • Troubleshoot HSM, application integration and connectivity issues together with internal technical teams.
  • Support customers with HSM commands, APIs, client libraries and application integration.
  • Develop practical examples and small scripts, for example using Python or OpenSSL, to support customer implementations.
  • Contribute to the technical integration and productisation of new HSM models within the service platform.
  • Define technical requirements and work with Service Architecture, Operations and Security & Compliance to ensure new solutions are secure, supportable and scalable.
  • Identify recurring customer requirements and use cases and translate them into improvements of the service offering.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, operational readiness and customer-facing guidance.
  • Provide HSM expertise for security and compliance activities, including areas such as PCI DSS and PCI PIN.

Your profile:

  • Hands-on experience designing, integrating or operating HSM-based solutions.
  • Experience with payment HSMs, ideally Utimaco AT1000 or comparable platforms such as Thales payShield.
  • Experience with general-purpose HSMs, ideally Utimaco SecurityServer, u.trust Anchor or comparable products.
  • Good understanding of cryptography, key management and information security principles.
  • Experience integrating HSMs into applications and Linux-based environments.
  • Ability to analyse and troubleshoot complex technical integration problems.
  • Understanding of how technical components are integrated into reliable and supportable service environments.
  • Basic scripting or programming experience, ideally with Python and OpenSSL.
  • Strong customer-facing and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work independently in an international and distributed environmen

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Experience integrating new HSM platforms or cryptographic technologies into existing products or services.
  • Experience across multiple payment and general-purpose HSM platforms.
  • Knowledge of cloud service architectures and managed security services.
  • Experience commissioning or operating HSM environments.
  • Familiarity with PCI DSS, PCI PIN, GSMA or comparable security and compliance frameworks.
  • Security certifications such as CISSP or comparable qualifications.
  • Experience working with banks, payment organisations or large enterprise customers.
  • Spanish or other additional languages.
