To further strengthen our Corporate Unit we are looking for a:   Head of Development Data Protection

Your tasks:

The head of development data protection oversees the design, development, testing, and rollout of all software products in the field of data protection. He continuously improves engineering practices & sets strategic directions on how the products are being built. He leads multiple development teams, ensures smooth cross-functional / cross-team collaboration and partners with sales, product management & support teams to address customer needs. Ultimately, he ensures a successful delivery on business objectives and opportunities. This role bridges technology, product, and executive leadership, driving innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

·   Manages and optimizes entire agile development lifecycle of data protection SW products (LANCrypt on-prem / cloud, Diskencrypt) according to global standards

·   Sets strategic technical goals aligned with company goals and ensures delivery according to product roadmaps and in line with business objectives

·   Act as executive interface for engineering topics and communicate progress and risks to senior leadership

·   Makes sure deliverables are of high quality and meet certification, compliance and security standards

·   Manages resources and ensures team and people development across the different sites

·   Takes overall site responsibility of the different development sites for own teams

·  Stays up-to-date with recent development and technology trends to foster innovation and continuous improvement

·    Lead and develop engineering managers and technical leads

·    Build high-performing, cross-functional teams

·    Deliveries are in time, budget and quality

·    Resource planning, hiring and performance mgmt of own teams

·    High motivation of teams

·    Teams adhere to global standard processes and procedures (SW dev, QA, certification)
