To further strengthen our Corporate Unit we are looking for a:   Junior Accounter

Your tasks:

  • Check and enter incoming invoices
  • Prepare and make payments to suppliers
  • Maintain and reconcile supplier accounts
  • Book the invoices to the correct GL or Asset accounts
  • Capitalisation of assets where required
  • Carry out postings relevant to the accounts Payables and Fixed Assets in the general ledgers and sub-ledgers; including Cost Accruals and Cost Deferrals where appropriate
  • Prepare the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB
  • Propose process improvements for the booking, the maintenance and the control of the accounts Payables and Fixed Assets

Your profile:

  • Completed commercial training (e.g. office clerk, assistant tax consultant)
  • Experience in various Finance roles with good knowledge of Accounting principles
  • Knowledge of HGB accounting standards
  • Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards a plus
  • Use of accounting software (e.g. DATEV, SAP)
  • Analytical thinking, accuracy and diligence
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate but also from own drive without supervision
