To further strengthen our Corporate Unit we are looking for a:   Cloud Software Engineer

Your tasks:

  • Support the deployment and delivery of our PHI product across various cloud platform marketplaces.
  • Work closely with the Technology Lead PHI to ensure implementations align with business and technical requirements.
  • Contribute to the development, maintenance and improvement of application features and supporting services.
  • Maintain a good working understanding of AWS, Azure and IBM Cloud application infrastructure, and contribute suggestions for improvements where appropriate.
  • Follow, contribute to and document best practices for application development, deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, Pulumi, or similar technologies.
  • Write clean, well-designed and maintainable code in accordance with industry best practices and standards, including PSR standards, and take ownership of the quality of delivered code.
  • Work with front-end and back-end components where required, including integrations between application services and cloud infrastructure.
  • Identify potential security vulnerabilities and risks within the codebase and infrastructure and contribute to their mitigation using established security practices.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues across application, deployment, cloud & customer infrastructure environments.

Your profile:

  • Experience with core AWS and/or Azure services, including compute, networking, security, identity and access management.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Working knowledge of Linux/Unix system administration.
  • Experience using version control tools such as Git.
  • Experience with at least one Infrastructure as Code technology such as Terraform, CloudFormation or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Pulumi.
  • Some experience with Node.js 22.x or above and a basic understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP).
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, HTTP/HTTPS and general web application security best practices.
  • Some experience debugging, maintaining and making changes to existing application or backend code.
