To further strengthen our Corporate Unit we are looking for a:   Product Owner Softwareentwicklung (m/f/x)

Your tasks:

  • As a Product Owner, your role is to maximize the value of the product resulting from the development team’s work. Researching, monitoring, and analyzing the market are therefore a key part of your job.
  • You are responsible for all aspects of requirements management. This means you must identify requirements and solicit the necessary information from all relevant stakeholders to ensure they are precise and feasible
  • It is essential that, as a Product Owner, you align the various interests of Product Management and Development.
  • You create and manage the Product Backlog in collaboration with the various agile teams. Your task involves not only prioritizing items but also, and above all, clearly describing the Epics and User Stories; visibility and transparency are crucial for this.
  • You approve the results of the work performed during the review meeting at the end of a sprint.
  • In addition, you provide the development team with your feedback, e.g., in the form of a burn-down chart, and show stakeholders when the project can be fully delivered.
  • You optimize the value and work of the development teams and are responsible for monitoring progress toward achieving the partial and overall goals

Your profile:

  • You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a comparable qualification, as well as several years of relevant professional experience.
  • You have several years of experience in the role of Product Owner or a comparable role in the field of agile software development (e.g., Feature Owner or Systems Engineer).
  • Knowledge of the development tools C/C++, Git, and Jira is a plus.
  • You are a dedicated team player who is conscientious, eager to learn, and solution-oriented.
  • You have excellent communication skills in English and German
