To further strengthen our Corporate Unit we are looking for a:   System Engineer (m/f/d) – Focus on Linux

Your tasks:

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Administration, operation, and optimization of Linux-based system landscapes
  • Management and expansion of our Kubernetes environments
  • Administration and development of our virtualization platform based on Proxmox
  • Configuration, operation, and troubleshooting of network components (switches and firewalls)
  • Development of scripting and automation solutions (e.g., Ansible)
  • Implementation and maintenance of our monitoring solution based on Checkmk
  • Analysis of system issues and performance tuning

Your profile:

YOUR PROFILE:

 

  • Excellent knowledge of Linux system administration
  • Experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications
  • Hands-on experience with Proxmox or similar virtualization platforms
  • Solid understanding of networking, especially switching and firewalls
  • Proficient scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) and experience with Ansible
  • Familiarity with Checkmk or similar monitoring solutions
  • Knowledge of Windows infrastructures is a plus and complements your profile
  • Structured, solution-oriented working style and strong team spirit
  • Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken
