To further strengthen our Corporate Unit we are looking for a:   Senior Cloud Developer - Persistent

Your tasks:

  • Take charge of the deployment and delivery of our PHI product into various cloud platform marketplaces
  • Work closely with the service development team lead to ensure business requirements are kept in check
  • Understand and research the current AWS, Azure & IBM cloud application infrastructure and suggest improvements
  • Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
  • Write infrastructure as code using CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager Template (ARM), Terraform or similar.
  • Write "clean", well-designed code following industry best practices (i.e., PSR Standards) & take ownership of written code.
  • Identify security vulnerabilities/risks in the codebase and mitigate them proactively (e.g. OWASP)

Your profile:

  • Experience with the core AWS / Azure services (e.g. EC2, Network Interfaces, Security Groups, IAM, ACR, KMS, ElasticIPs and so on)
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Having used MicroK8s in the past is a plus.
  • Experience in Node 18.x or above
  • Solid understanding of OOP
  • Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS and security best practices in web platforms (e.g. OWASP)
  • Adequate knowledge in using version control tools such as Git
  • A reasonable background in Linux/Unix administration
