Your tasks:

Join Utimaco GmbH as a Software Developer and play a key role in developing software applications that enhance security in a post-quantum world. If you have a passion for cryptography and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you!

  • As our Software Developer (m/f/d) you will develop software applications and systems that support the integration of post-quantum cryptography, ensuring our solutions remain secure and resilient.
  • To create exceptional user experiences, you will dive into complex requirements and actively shape the design phase, ensuring that every detail aligns with user needs.
  • You will write, test, and maintain high-quality code that’s built to perform and scale, enabling our products to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving technology landscape.
  • In addition, you will debug and resolve issues, ensuring the software operates efficiently and empowering users with reliable solutions that enhance their experience.
  • You will continuously update and improve existing software applications or systems, keeping us ahead in a fast-moving tech world and reinforcing our commitment to excellence.
  • Collaborating closely with our cross-functional teams, you will develop innovative software solutions that not only meet but exceed expectations, driving our projects forward.

Your profile:

  • You possess a strong track record of designing, writing, and maintaining high-quality code that addresses real-world challenges effectively.
  • You have in-depth expertise in C/C++ programming languages, empowering you to tackle complex software tasks with confidence and precision.
  • You demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities, efficiently resolving complex software defects and enhancing overall product quality.
  • You are committed to code quality, with experience in conducting thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to the highest coding standards.
  • You excel in comprehensive documentation skills, creating and maintaining detailed technical documentation that boosts team efficiency and benefits end-users.
  • You are proficient with version control systems (Git), unit testing, and collaborating with QA teams to ensure seamless system functionality.
  • You have experience implementing cryptographic algorithms and a strong passion for software security, ensuring robust protection in your solutions.
