To further strengthen our Corporate Unit we are looking for a:   (Senior) Linux DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

  • Linux System Management: Manage and maintain Enterprise Linux environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Monitoring Implementation: Implement and manage monitoring solutions utilizing technologies such as Sensu and OpsGenie to ensure system health and availability.
  • Identity Management: Demonstrate expertise in IDM technologies, specifically FreeIPA, and contribute to the integration of these solutions within the infrastructure.
  • Security: Understand and implement security concepts, including the implementation of security hardening guidelines using tools like firewall, SELinux, and OpenSCAP, to enhance system resilience.
  • Logging Solutions: Implement logging solutions based on Grafana Loki to enhance visibility and analysis of system logs.
  • Automation: Drive automation initiatives using Infrastructure as Code practices, with a focus on Ansible for efficient and scalable operations.
  • Service Operation: Operation of services based on Utimaco's Trust-as-a-Service platform.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience as a Linux DevOps Engineer, with a focus on Enterprise Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with global data center environments and security concepts.
  • Advanced Linux skills, particularly in Enterprise Linux environments.
  • Comprehensive understanding of IDM technologies, with a focus on FreeIPA.
  • Strong knowledge of security concepts and fail-over strategies.
  • Expertise in automation practices using Infrastructure as Code, with proficiency in Ansible.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (English), listening and teamwork skills, and effective presentation skills.
