Zur Verstärkung unserer Corporate Unit suchen wir ab sofort am Standort Aachen einen:   

Working Student (Team Eagle)

Deine Aufgaben:

The working student will support the team with tasks such as:

  • Linux & Yocto: Run and monitor Yocto builds, update basic BitBake recipes, and flash images onto test hardware.

  • Kernel & SecureBoot: Assist in testing kernel configurations and applying patches. Run verification scripts to ensure SecureBoot processes function correctly.

  • Utimaco HSMs (CS LAN & CS card): Help set up and configure CryptoServer LAN appliances in the test lab. Initialize, manage, and track Utimaco CS cards (smartcards) used for key material.

  • Scripting & Automation: Write small Python or Bash scripts to automate lab setups, test runs, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Documentation: Record test results, document lab configurations, and maintain how-to guides for the engineering team.

Dein Profil:

What You Bring

  • Enrolled student in Computer Science, IT Security, or similar.

  • Comfortable navigating the Linux command line.

  • Basic scripting skills (Python or Bash).

  • A strong interest in embedded systems (Yocto, Kernel) and hardware security.

  • Proactive mindset: You are eager to learn complex topics from our senior experts.
